Integration of systems has become a powerful tool to simplify and control a number of key systems within a facility to ensure that alerts are sent to the correct destination for timely notification and resolution.
Alert Tech uses “open” integration platforms. By this we mean that the platform can connect to a vast array of systems and devices through generic interfaces developed to link into other systems or an interface specifically built for that system.
Alarms can be presented on displays, can be integrated into security systems, sent to handsets either via SMS or dedicated append, or integrated into the company’s email system for the delivery of alarms and reports.
In nurse call this typically is seen with the integration of Fire, Security, Nurse Call, handsets/smart devices, displays, emails and SMS, etc.
Integration platforms have the ability to provide reports [hyperlink to Reports page] that include recorded data from all systems. Thus, a standardised report structure with automatic reports can be provided. Has the fire system been tested this month? A report can show that along with the proof that the alarm went to the nurse call handsets and security system to un-lock the doors.
